It was the middle of the night. There was a slight breeze through the window when the died blond haired girl had left her dorm, but that didn't do anything to soothe her mind. It was running a million miles a minute, and with thoughts that would terrify many normal teenagers. She hadn't even bothered to change into her robes. Instead she was wearing her pajamas, which was a matching pair of plaid pants and shirt. Though her hair was usually enormously tousled, it was instead only slightly bed-head mannered. The usual extra mess wasn't there because she hadn't though about her image before she fled from her room.
Holding a hand to her head, she tried to nurse a horrible headache that was coming on because of the thoughts. Shaking her head lightly, partly because it would hurt to shake it more, she started up stairs. Her legs continued to lift her higher and higher, until when she looked up, she saw that she was by the Astronomy Tower. Blinking some, she wandered to the door and found it open. Smiling slightly, she made her way in and looked around.
Looking up at the stars, she smiled some. Cheska new the constellations well, though she did not know all of them. Sitting down on the ground, she kept her eyes on the stars and constellations. Slowly, she felt her mind start to clear out. All the horrible thoughts started to weed out of her brain and she calmed down. Her eyes scanned the stars and she found her favorite constellation. Cassiopeia.
Closing her eyes for a moment, she then opened them and continued to gaze at Cassiopeia. By now her thoughts were calmer, and she half thought of falling asleep right then and there, but she didn't feel tired. Cheska felt more at peace, but she didn't feel tired.
