Taking her role books out into the garden, Evelien sat down on a bench. The flowers were in bloom and she had to check on them anyway. Luckily for her, the flowers were doing just fine, and she could sort out the role book for her classes. She loved being outside, that came with the territory of being the Herbology teacher. Most of the teacher she had when she was younger, they had been short, chubby, and though they were wonderful, looked rather scraggly. And fortunately, Evelien had not taken that trait from previous Herbology teachers.
Slipping off her shoes, she crossed her legs on the bench and pulled out her role book. There weren't many people at the moment, but she was sure she would get more in short order. Her blue eyes scanned her book and she quickly sorted them into ages and houses. Clapping her hands together, her book closed and she looked at it. "I probably should have waited a little longer to start sorting everything out. That took only ...fifteen minutes." Evelien said after looking at the sun.
Looking around the garden in a very lazy manner, she saw a flower that seemed to be wilting some. "What's this?" Quickly unfolding her legs and briskly walking to the flower, she fell to her knees and looked at it. "Let's see what you need." Putting her hands on either side of the flower she inspected it. "Mhmm." Pulling out her wand, she muttered a spell that would feed the plant every few hours with a special mixture. "That should do it."
Clapping the dirt off her hands, she went back to the bench and sat, legs cross-legged again. Her shoes were still off and sitting neatly on the ground. A few yards away, her orange cat was lying lazily in a flower bed. But he was careful not to break any flower. Evelien put her hands on her feet and looked around some. I shouldn't have this much spare time. I'm a teacher.
